Computational Neurogenomics

We conduct essentially computational research at the interface between investigations in molecular neurobiology and bioinformatic methods development, especially for the analysis and integration of sequencing data (bulk and single-cell transcriptomic and epigenomic data). From a biological point of view, we study the transcriptional and post-transcriptional control of gene expression in the central nervous system and models thereof, with a special emphasis on how transcription factor networks shape chromatin so as to maintain homeostasis and determine cell-type-specific responses to stimuli
